A weekend back we spotted none other than our good friend ABI coming from a Battle of the Bay session (Giants swept), decked in our women’s State of Mind tank. We haven’t mentioned her on the blog as of yet but she is a formidable blogging force herself, writing for no less than 3 popular blogs. So ladies, if you don’t follow her yet, get familiar.

The first is her personal blog, Girls are the New Boys where she describes herself as such- “Fashion is my passion and writing is my bitch. Love to cake, but I rather bake … $bread$.” Good heavens. Second, she is the voice of the Dear Abi column over at the Hellz Blog, giving refereshingly frank advice to men and ladies alike. You are guaranteed an entertaining and informative read. And lastly, of which she seems to be the most averse to discussing, is her work over at Top-Ten Twilight fan site What The Forks?! where she talks about….Twilight stuff. So yeah, nuff said…check her out.

Today we announce a collaborative tee with TRUE entitled the Summer of Love, part of their Native Leagues Project series. This is the 4th installment in the ambitious project put together by TRUE and various brand collaborators to celebrate Bay Area teams and culture. The Summer of Love tee is a reference to the late 60′s cultural phenomenon of the same name. Taking place during the Summer of 1967 and continuing through the end of the 60′s, the Haight/Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco (also home to the TRUE flagship store) acted as a hub for a movement that embodied the ideals of creative expression, sexual freedom, and cultural and political rebellion. In following with the Native Leagues Project local teams tradition, the tee also pays symbolic homage to the city’s own San Francisco Giants.

This will be available in Black and White colorways at both TRUE locations (SF, Walnut Creek) and online. These go on sale at tomorrow at 11AM on our webstore as well.
