W.O.D., OH MY!

Sunday, September 28th, 2008

On Saturday we participated in the World of Dance event at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA. If you missed it…well it was quite the spectacle. Lots of good company, good dancing, and good sales (to counteract the ridiculous refreshment costs), so thanks to those that copped some new gear. As promised we have posted some pics from the days events:

We were fortunate to be staged alongside the good people of Breezy Excursion, who provided much of the entertainment for the day, including pop-up battles, cool drinks, and fresh beats.

Mr. DunkXChange, making it happen.

Quanster!!

Yeh Mecca. Looking rather toned these days.

Snap!

Getting down, getting up:

Some ADVANCERS…

Adapt is for the kids:

Yuri (Kaba Modern) doubling up:

Ice Water (Raekwon proteges):

BTW you forgot your bandana!

Ladies of World Famous:

Sorry forgot your name…the Runners? Bombers? Zingers? Hit us up and we will update accordingly–in any case enjoy the gear!

As always, thanks for the support.

Oh…and if you are holding a sticker in any of these pics, send us an email (must prove by showing another pic of you). First 2 will receive a T of your choice.

Update: Winners accounted for! Til next time…

Treasure Island.

Today we were driven via leather-appointed Bauer Shuttles over to the Treasure Island Music Festival in SF. The weather was a bit overcast but good overall for San Francisco. Some shots of the days happenings:

Live art:

Loquat…good band from SF. Chill.

These guys demand….your change.

We were given a stern warning by Rick Rubin’s long-lost (and now found) twin for shooting pics of Aesop Rock with an unauthorized ‘professional-style’ camera. Unfortunately because of that we are unable to bring you a photo of him to judge for yourself, however we did get a few nice shots of Ace and crew:

Rob Sonic:

Chris the Mad God:

Thanks for the love ladies!

We stopped into True East, the Walnut Creek branch of the SF staple today to drop off some tees. If you have yet to visit the shop it sports a clean, spacious layout chock-full of the finest in graphic tees, fitteds, shoes, nick-nacks, and cut and sew pieces. Yeeea boy!
